How to change MediaCP Video RTMP & RTMPS ports

In some cases it may be necessary to change MediaCP Video's ports to work around other used ports from other applications or video streaming servers. You can follow these steps below to change MCP Video RTMP & RTMPS ports:

  1. Login to the Media Control Panel as administrator
  2. Select System Config → Plugins → MediaCP Video 
  3. Update the RTMP and RTMPS ports as needed
  4. SSH into server as root
  5. Update the /usr/local/mediacp/nginx-rtmp/conf/rtmp.port/usr/local/mediacp/nginx-rtmp/conf/rtmps.port files to match the configuration set in the panel in step 3
  6. Restart MediaCP Video: mediacp restart video
