API Testing

MediaCP provides a comprehensive RESTful API that is accessible by Administrators, Resellers and Customers. It is documented by POSTMAN at the link below.

If you are running into issues or would like to test the API in a controlled environment you can leverage postman by forking the API and running it in Postman.

  1. Navigate to our Postman page
  2. Select the orange Run in Postman button on the top right
  3. Select Postman Web to Fork
  4. If you do not have a Postman account, you will be asked to create one
  5. After account creation or if already created you will see the fork creation page, select Fork Collection
  6. Once you have the API forked it will be best to setup an environment that has your servers hostname port apikey etc. so that the API is connected to your panel
  7. After this is configured correctly you should be able to test and use our API in postman
