Why do I have a balance to pay on my invoice?
PayPal Subscriptions send a fixed amount defined at the time of creation and we are unable to modify the amount automatically.
Therefore any subscriptions you have setup will continue to send payments for the previous amount, which can result in a balance left to pay.
What steps should I take?
A one-time payment can be made to clear the invoice balance.
To do this, click the "PayPal Checkout" button displayed on the invoice.
How can I create a subscription to cover the full amount?
Please follow these steps to create a new PayPal Subscription that covers the new monthly amount:
- Login to PayPal and find the transaction with the incorrect amount
- View the recurring subscription
- Cancel the subscription
- When the next invoice is created, you can create another subscription with the correct amount
